  • Do I need my parent’s approval?
  • Yes, in order for you to set up an account a parent or legal guardian will need to sign their son or daughter up using the parent’s email address.
  • How long does it take to sign up?
  • You should be able to complete registration in less than 5 MINUTES!
  • Do I need to be a computer geek to navigate KIDSHCAP?
  • Not at all… the program requires minimal information and as long as you can point and click a mouse you’ll be a KIDSHCAP expert your first time!
  • Does KIDSHCAP adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act?
  • Strictly…. we will only ask for two pieces of personal information: 1) child’s name and 2) date of birth. The reason we ask for your child’s name is to allow us to print personalized scorecards for your son or daughter. In addition, the date of birth allows us to create a scorecard with adjusted yardages based on their age. For example, a 7 year old-boy will play a 9-hole course of 1580 yards. In comparison, a 10 year-old boy will play an 18-hole course of 4015 yards.
  • What is the goal of KIDSHCAP?
  • We want to put the FUN back into one of the oldest and greatest games on earth. During the last ten years 5 million golfers have given up the game. Technology is a great thing to a point. We believe it’s important to get off the couch and take a break from texting friends long enough to enjoy the outdoors. The game of golf embraces honesty and integrity. In addition, the social skills young players develop will last a lifetime!
  • What communication and database security do you employ?
  • We utilize encryption using Secured Socket Layer. The web application requires a browser that is capable of 128 bits SSL. The raw database files are encrypted by proprietary Microsoft encryption. Sensitive data fields within the data base are additionally encrypted.
